Elena Tran is currently a junior at Plano East Senior High School. She is the founder of PeshCulturallyUnited, a youth-led initiative aimed at embracing cultural diversity at her school. In her spare time, she works at Mathnasium and volunteers as a junior assistant teacher at a local church. Her passions include playing the piano, reading, writing poems, and riding her bike. She dreams of working in the medical field and traveling the world one day.
Living with immigrant parents, she has grown to appreciate her own cultural traditions along with the ones around her. Hoping to help international students embrace themselves and their talents, she thinks it’s an honor to bring her own support and care into their lives.
